Official Opening of Dufferin Campus
File contains images of a man speaking at a podium. A ribbon cutting ceremony. Men and women stand about and mingle. A cake reads "Official Opening - Ontario Skills Development Office - Seneca College - October 31st 1986". President Roy McCutcheon, Steven Quinlan, and North York Mayor Mel Lastman are present. The old listing notes that this is the official opening of Dufferin Campus. In 1986 new campus locations were opened in North York (at Caledonia and Lawrence Avenue), replacing the Glen Rush Campus, and in Newmarket (Hillard). The College also opens the Ontario Skills Development Office at Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue, which is the subject of these photos.
